Global Change Ecology

How do terrestrial ecosystems respond to and contribute to environmental changes? My research focuses on how terrestrial ecosystems are changing in response to human activities and the impact that these changes have on climate. I use a combination of field and laboratory techniques, ecological models, and data synthesis to address these questions across spatial scales and through time.
